Terms of use
Last updated 14 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Karigari Heritage website and any order you place with us. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Placing an order means you accept these terms, the shipping policy, the returns and refunds policy, and the privacy policy. If those pages clash, the shipping and returns pages win on delivery and refunds, the privacy page wins on personal data, and these terms win on everything else.
Who you are dealing with
The shop name is Karigari Heritage. The seller is Rekha Crafts (OPC) Private Limited, GSTIN 08AAQCR1399L1ZI, registered on 10 August 2026. Rekha Chandel is the director. Registered address: Ward no 08, Rekha w/o Mahesh Kumar, Ramdev Colony, Pokaran, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan 345021. We are a shop, not a temple trust and not a courier. Payment is taken by Cashfree. Questions: orders@karigariheritage.com.
Who may order
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. You must give a true name, address, email, and phone. If you order for someone else, you still stay responsible for payment and for a reachable address. We may refuse an order that looks like fraud, a card test, or a bulk scrape dressed up as 40 small checkouts.
How the contract starts
A product page is an invitation to order, not a promise that we still have stock at that second. The contract starts when payment is successful and we show an order number. We also try to email you. If the mail lands in spam, the order on our side is still real. Keep the order number.
If an item is out of stock after you pay, we refund that line and say so. We do not silently swap a 6 inch idol for a 3 inch one. If you want a substitute, that is a new yes from you by email.
Guest checkout
You do not create an account. Anyone with your email can, in theory, talk to us about an order if they also know the order number. Treat that number like a ticket. Do not post it on a public screenshot with your address still in the frame.
Prices and tax
Prices are in Indian rupees. They include applicable tax as shown at checkout. Shipping is free. We do not add cash on delivery. We may change a price on the site at any time. The price that matters is the one you paid for that order. A screenshot from last Diwali does not freeze today's price.
If tax rates change by law, new orders follow the new rate. Paid orders stay as billed unless the government says otherwise.
Payment
You pay online through Cashfree before we ship. Cards, UPI, and net banking are on their page. We do not take cash on delivery. We do not take a bank transfer to a personal account that someone messaged you. Our shop email is on this site. Use that.
If your bank shows a debit and we have no paid order, write to us with the reference number. Read the returns page for double charges.
The goods
Photographs are of the type of product. Handmade pieces vary. Size labels such as 3 inch or 6 inch are approximate. Quilted totes are about 12 by 14 inches. Read the product page for material and care. Using chemicals on an idol or soaking a quilted bag is at your risk.
Spiritual items are sold as craft. We do not promise puja results, luck, or protection on the road. If that sentence bothers you, you are still welcome to buy. We just will not put it in writing as a guarantee.
We do not sell antiques as antiques. Resin is resin. Marble dust is not carved marble from a quarry. If a listing ever says otherwise, email us. We will correct the page.
Use of the site
Use the site to browse and to order. Do not scrape the catalogue to copy it onto another shop. Do not hammer the checkout with scripts. Do not post malware through the contact form. Do not try to open other people's orders. We may block an IP or refuse an order that looks like that. We may also call the police if someone tries to break in, which has not happened, and we would rather it stay that way.
Intellectual property
Product photos, text, and the Karigari Heritage name on this site belong to us or to people who licensed them to us. You may not copy the catalogue wholesale. You may photograph a piece you bought and show it as yours. You may not lift our photos and sell the same SKU with our background still in the frame. That last one happens more than you think.
Your messages
If you send us a review, a photo, or a complaint, you let us use that text to deal with the order. You do not give us a free pass to put your face on an ad. If we ever want a photo for the site we will ask. A "this arrived cracked" photo is for the claim file, not for Instagram.
Liability
We pack with care. We are not liable for delay caused by the courier, weather, a wrong address you typed, or a phone that was switched off when the rider called. Our liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where Indian law does not allow that limit.
Resin figures and small idols can chip if they fall off a dashboard. That is physics. Put them where they will sit. We are not paying for a cracked windscreen because a 9 inch piece was balanced on a sloped dash.
Events outside our control
If a flood, strike, pandemic rule, warehouse fire, or courier shutdown stops us, we pause dispatch and tell you. We finish the order when we can, or we refund if you ask and we still have the goods. We do not add penalty interest. We do not offer store credit unless you prefer that to a refund, and then only if we both say yes in email.
Contact form
Do not use the form to send threats, bulk ads, or someone else's personal data. We may ignore mail that is only abuse. We will not ignore a genuine damage claim even if you are angry. Start with the order number. It speeds things up.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of India. The seller is registered in Rajasthan. Courts at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan have jurisdiction, along with any consumer commission the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 allows you to use. That Act is not cut down by this sentence.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Orders already paid keep the terms that were live when you paid, except where the law says otherwise. If we rename a policy page, the new URL still counts.
